Get Up, Soldiers!

Shadeclaw, as usual, was among the first to wake up. She raised her chin and hissed just loud enough for only the cats in the Warriors' Den to hear, "Dawn has arrived! Wake up and get ready for patrols."

The strict she-cat filed out of the den, waiting for others as she sat down towards the center of camp, where she sorted out patrols and extra training that may be needed. With Shadeclaw as the deputy, the clan normally had to work hard, otherwise at the risk of a harsh scolding. The deputy wasn't genuinely mean, though. She just wanted her clan to be the strongest, because she knew they had the potential to do so.

IC: Scarletstar yawned as she padded out of her den, the already bright sky lifting her spirits. "Greetings, Shadeclaw, may I join you on this patrol?" She asked.

Shadeclaw looked up in surprise, instantly dipping her head as she spotted the leader. "Of course, Scarletstar. You are always welcome and it's a pleasure to have you alongside us." She meowed politely, glancing up at Scarletstar before standing straight again. "Speckledfur and Blackfoot(Random NPCs) are coming with us, so whenever you're ready to go."

Ooc: Since this is a camp topic and it's only us two, we could time skip to after the patrol? :3

It was quite a while before Sunhigh, so the patrol was definitely on time as they padded back into camp, Scarletstar in the lead and Shadeclaw taking up the rear, growling a warning at anyone who messed up. The black she-cat then stepped out of line, allowing the other two cats of the patrol besides Scarletstar to disperse into the camp, leaving the deputy and leader by the entrance. The deputy politely dipped her head to the leader before padding back to her spot in the middle of camp, where other cats of Shadowclan were roaming around. The dawn hunting patrol was depositing prey on the pile nearby, while kits romped and played near the nursery. Other warriors were chatting among themselves, though it was most likely productive still.

Scarletstar padded through the tunnel, and into the camp. Everthing is alright.. For now. Lets just hope we are safe. Scarletstar thought, letting her mine wander.

"Shadeclaw," the leader hesitantly started. "I knew you were the right choice for deputy, and you have met my expectations. You are the best choice for leader, which might come in handy soon. I have 7 lives left." Scarletstar finished.
