We Need To Be Active :u

Cloudsong padded into camp, gently placing a few birds and mice neatly b the fresh-kill pile, then moved them a bit as if to make them look like they were only sleeping soundly; much like the death ceremonies for clan cats. She whispered something to herself, a quiet prayer to Starclan, then padded away as if nothing had happened. It was well known how loyal the gentle she-cat was to the warrior code, and how she hated to harm others unless needed. She very much respected her prey, never once forgetting to thank Starclan for its life. She did this all the time, and to some it was kind of cute, to some it was respectable, and to a few others it just seemed stupid or creepy. But they didn't understand like she did, though she gave no complaint when others didn't do the same. She couldn't expect them to always remember the value of prey, and that was fine by her. But whenever she saw a kit who didn't no any better rolling a dead mouse around as if it were a toy, she'd either scold them lightly or pad away quickly, refusing to watch. That's just how she was.

The small leader of Skyclan walked from her den. She nodded to her deputy, as she picked a bird from the pile and sat down to eat. Oh how she loved birds!

Ic: Cloudsong dipped her head respectfully to her leader, quickly moving out of her way and sitting down nearby with her own mouse, one which was particularly small since she wasn't very hungry.

Taking a small bite, she glanced up at her leader, for a moment not liking the silence as she normally does. "Good weather today..." She meowed quietly, not knowing what to say.

Featherstar nodded. "Yes. It is very nice. Not a bad day to go hunting." The she-cat answered back.

"Indeed." Cloudsong agreed as well, still rather quiet. She always felt nervous around the leader, afraid she'd mess up some how. Anxiety pricked at her pelt as she struggled not to show her discomfort.

Featherstar looked at the warrior. "Would you come with me on a hunting patrol?" she asked.

Cloudsong looked up in surprise. She nodded quickly. "Of course." She replied, standing up. "Right now or...?"

Feathersong stood up. "Why not? I don't think it will hurt to go now."

Cloudsong nodded and padded over. "Yes Featherstar. Whenever you're ready..." She meowed quietly, looking at nothing as she waited. Her eyes held no emotion, just a mysterious--and slightly eerie--nothingness.

Featherstar nodded. "Well, then let's head out." She said, smiling. As they got to a decent spot, Featherstar sniffed the air. "There's so many mice around here..." she muttered to herself.

OOC: I'm going to go add dice, so we can do it. Same hunting system as WCC, by the way)

Cloudsong herself was completely silent, tasting the air and swiftly climbing a tree as she hopped from branch to branch, looking for the scented prey.

After a moment, she spotted two mice tussling with each other over a nut they had perhaps hungrily come across at the same time. She crouched, gathering her haunches from the branch she was on, and leaped. But the branch creaked unsuspectingly, causing the mice to hear her. The one on top darted away, into a hole nearby, while the one who had been fighting on the bottom(losing, probably) had to take a minute to get up, and she killed it with a swift snap to its neck.

Featherstar smiled. She saw a squirrel munching on a nut, and she went and attacked it. (Feeling lazy)

As it went limp in hew jaws, Featherstar felt hungry.
